I would love to sign up for this hunt! I live in Fernandina Beach, but raised in Live Oak/Suwannee County and still have family there I can stay with that live a mile from the Suwannee River State Park. Where can I sign up for the hunt?

Sorry, I don't understand this comment. Would you expand on it please? I need more detail to understand what you are talking about.

This was in reference to someone asking about local parks in the area. this doesn't pertain to the hunt location. The hunt property is private, someone mentioned a cpl local city parks, i am awaiting notification if they allow metal detecting in these parks for those that asked me....gregg

only cost so far we see is if your staying on property there, is your room,etc.. if you plan on driving from another hotel , its $7.00 paid to SRR for the event. i don't forsee it costing any more than that, as it is paid to SRR, and the other $2.00 per person is being donated to the Historical Society there., any questions ask away......looking forward to having you guys...

Spoke with grandma susie, and next week i will be calling her back as she is still awaiting confirmation but so far what i did get from her was there is a chance there maybe a permit needed to detect local/city parks. she believes the permits are free, but she will find out for me this week after the pioneer days event this weekend in mayo.So i will post any more info as i get it next week for those asking about local parks......gregg
