I emptied out 1 bag of Roman coins to photograph,
the others are still in bags, too much light reflecting
off the plastic bags...a total of 5 bags​

PM from Alan... I have 3 walker halves a 42, 43 and 47 all undug. I have a couple of civil war bullets, 50 uncleaned roman coins. (I sell those as a hobby) They are legit over 1000 year old coins. Some nice coins have come out of the groups but they are the smaller sizes so can be a pain to clean.
I buy them from a guy in London. lol I did not check the coins at all I just grabbed them and put them in bags for you so I really don't know whats in there. I sell them on Ebay and a few other places for $1.20 to $2.00 a piece. Some decent finds have come out of the groups I get in. Most are mid grade smaller size coins and they are all very dirty.

I think RR covered it fairly well as usual!!!! The digger is brand new I bought it just to donate to the hunt. The halves and bullets came from my collection. The roman coins are uncleaned and there are 5 bags of 10. There have been some good coins people have found from these lots. They are the smaller size coins but they have a surprising amount of detail. Whoever wins these will have to post the post cleaning results on TN! Any specific questions please let me know. I hope everyone has a great time and wish I could be there!!!

Heads Up, :P Golden opportunity ahead if you will be traveling through Lafayette La. while in route to the Bayou Hunt. Prejeans located about five miles North on I-49, has the best Chicken Sausage Gumbo in the world. They have the metals to prove it, plus my personal opinion. The Blue Coyote, located by the Mall on the South side is a Mexican restaurant with the best Fajitas and Cheese Grits you will ever eat. My wife and I will drive four hours and stay overnight just to eat, lunch at Prejeans and supper at the Blue Coyote. Yea, we love good food.

Oh, Oberkill, you are so kind! I am anxious to see those coins!!! The most special place I have ever been on a temporary basis, on this earth is Rome. Don't know if you've ever been there or not, but if you have the opportunity, do it. The ruins are laid out like football fields. It's very unique. Well, you mentioned Roman coins, so that's where my brain went.

Do sooooo wish you could be here. Watch for pictures. Between all of us, there should be some pretty good shows and storytelling. Thank you, AGAIN!!! -Noodle
