It just keeps getting better and better and BETTER! Thanks to all the good folks who keep donating more goodies!!! I know I'm getting excited about the marathon prize giving and oh yeah....the hunt! I wish everybody that wanted to come could get there. If I win a lottery, I'll pay for everybody anywhere that wants to come! Cross your fingers!

Since you figured out that flat thing on your detector....it seems that beeping noise is bugging you. I always just take the batteries out.Then it gets much quieter and I find I don't have to dig as many aluminum poptops. Now thats a Pro tip that I don't always tell everybody but I am willing to share it with you. I forgot who taught me that but it never fails. I don't even want an extra slice for the advice, I just want to help!

Time is getting closer....time to kick up the post to pump us even more!!!

SAY ARE YOU GUYS GOING TO HAVE ANY PRIZES AT THE HUNT. Good Lord what a truck load! I can close my eyes and see the campfires, laughter and stories being told. Some are in for a great time. WTG ladies!!

goldie here ,finally feeling better and got hooked up to new internet service . soory to here about everyones losses of family members and the flooding. your all in my prayers. mary ps have new email add.only 20 some days to go to hunt I AM VERY JEALOUS THAT I CANT MAKE IT TIL NEXT YEAR> told old man will be in la with him or without him in 2009 LBH.

Three woman, two younger and one older woman, were sitting naked in a sauna.

Suddenly there was a beeping sound. the younger woman pressed her forearm and the beep stopped.

The others looked at her questioningly. "That was my pager," she said I have a microchip under the skin of my arm.

A few minutes later, a phone rang. The second young woman lifted her palm to her ear. When she was finished, she explained, "that was my mobile phone I have a microchip in my hand".

The older woman felt very low tech. not to be out done, she decided she had to do something just as impressive.

She stepped out of the sauna and went to the bathroom. She returned with a piece of toilet paper hanging from her rear end.

The others raised their eyebrows and stared at her.

The older woman finally said....

Well, will you look at that .... I'm getting a FAX ! !

Glad to see everybody getting excited again about the hunt! We've been down burning out around the chimney at one of the homesites. Such a chore! Had several round bales of hay set down there, and Dan set them off this evening and then spent 3-4 hours spreading the fires out to burn down debris around them. It was fun!

If you're still waiting for pics of prizes, this will teach you patience. Have some to make; with all the preps for the hunt, not much time to take them. Just be assured we're appreciative and are working toward that end. Working fulltime is not conducive to hobby stuff.

Well BB and I went out last night and hunted a couple of places. Let me asure ALL of you, you are in NO danger of BB and I finding any of the good stuff at this hunt! Man what a joke, nothing. We had a great place with lots of potential and all we found was 2 wheat pennies.

Oh well we did dig a lot of nails so BB and I can keep that wagon we rented, to come to the hunt, together now.

Let me tell you from experience (those of you that have never attended one of these events) 25 days will go by //FAST
