Coinstar gave up a nice $2 Canadian coin...I'm accumulating a good amount of coinstar Canadian money...come on Canada open up! Update...had a hunch on another coinstar and found a small pile waiting there....

I have been getting skunked more than I like as well Elvis...but it seems to come in spurts...last night I was shopping late and hovered at another coinstar while a couple dumped their coins...I ended up with a few pennies, a Canadian quarter and a washer.

I know you have Looneys and Twoneys, what are these gonna be called?

Hi Guys,

I've no idea what the new $5 coin is going to be called, as this was a proposal that was made to the Canadian Mint in 2017, but has yet to be approved by our Government.

As far as as what will be featured on the coin, the Loonie features the Canada Loon and the Toonie has the Polar Bear, so possibly the Canada Goose or a Moose. Our Canadian quarter already features a Caribou.
