I worked a 40's home site today with my Nox and Kruzer. In some parts of the yard, water would fill in the bottom of the plug and the mud was super sticky. I had to cut the hunt short because my pinpointer's battery level was getting low and I didn't want to change out the battery with it all caked in mud. I'll go back and hit that site again, but this time in 2-tone and I'll be digging everything above iron.
I knew that I had silver under the coil before I even dug because I was getting a 26/27 ID and a clad dime and copper penny normally IDs at 25 on the Nox. The War nickel ID at 42/43 in the ground, but a regular Jefferson nickel normally IDs at 30 on the Kruzer. This particular War nickel ID 33 out of the ground. You just have to dig those iffy signals.
I had to spray the targets after I got home with the garden hose before I could take the pictures.
