I went to pick up my halves today and was told service shorted me $600 on my order. Sooooo I said let me have a box of dimes that someone has brought in...not from the service. Out of my $400 in halves I got 2 40%. But going through my dimes I was just looking on the sides for silver and rerolling and happened to notice an odd one ...a 1868 3 cent piece !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah !!!!!!!Can you believe it !!!! I just tried to take about 50 pictures of it and I cant get it right ....my camera cant get close enough without blurring.Thats my oldest coin ever !!!!!

Have you tried the macro mode on your camera? Or backing away from the camera and then using the zoom?

The macro mode is a little tricky. On mine it is exactly 12 inches for the pic to come into focus. Try several times and eventually one will come out. That 3 center looks to be in gorgeous shape!

Unless the condition is AU or better it really wouldn't be worth getting certified. I would say it's in the $20 range.

You might be right, i looked up the star 3 cent piece by mistake. Still an incredable find. Cant tell from the pic what grade it might be.
