They're starting to cut corn here at the house,couple combine run's at the edge.Stalk's are too high to really swing yet but managed to dig this old ring before cutting the grass.Gold Plated at once.Any ideas on age?

no help on the age, but looks like a cool find, and it looks old.
 
looks like it maybe has stars on the band. any chance it's a patriotic ring?
 
Lemon juice ought to do the trick.
