Wondering if anyone can help identify this anchor. It was dragged up fishing 40-50 years ago in the area of St.Lunaire/Griquet , Newfoundland Canada , there have been discoveries of Vikings and French dating back to the 16th century . Trying to find out the origin of the anchor and its possible value . Thanks !

I salvaged this anchor a while back and wondered if anyone could date it for me?

I don't think there a way to date it, in the USA they're called a "stock anchor" and or as a secondary anchor a "kedge anchor" in England a "fisherman's anchor" they have been made pretty much the same since the 19th century and still being made today.
