DIG that place out!!!! That stuff is OLD!!! And whole ones are valuable . Early to mid 1800s . Nice! I'd be happy with just shards!

Right! Thanks.
I'm happy too.. I will dig it out before long.
The coins I've found have been mostly early 1800's

Yeah I imagine that site would be great for mding too

Gator Boy, thanks for visiting us on "this side" of the forum. You are in a very Promising area. Your examples and broken shards are delightful to the eye and that should be a site for you to spend a lot of time md'ing, sifting and bottle digging. Keep us informed and please share your finds with us.

I sure will..and thank you

Gator,
You know as well as I do those are some really old bottles shards. With large pieces that you have there, likely chance of a whole one nearby. Given what you've found and shown, I would not be able to sleep at night if I had a chance to bottle hunt that old of an area. Good luck and post them.

Thank you.. I will definitely post.
Already found several musket balls, flints and kaolin pipe fragments.
Check this one out!

Greetings Gator,

Those black glass ones are so very tantalizing. I would be all over that spot, gently scratching away and sifting. I'd encourage you to excavate immediately, if not sooner. 8-)

The green Moor and the bunch-o-grapes pipe bowls sing to me. That tragically damaged plumed cologne is near the ultimate crier. Is there any lettering embossed?

Thanks for this post, sir!

No lettering on the cologne..that was a heart breaker..it looked whole at first.
I'm going to be very gentle and thorough with the site.
Thanks for stopping by sir.
