Years ago I had a book that was about 7"x 10" and about 2" thick that had almost every old bottle in it that I found, if the bottle had any marks. Even the ceramic beer bottle with the 'marble" stoppers. It was broken down into sections like medicine, whisky, beer, It had a little history of the manufacture and a price of what the bottle might be worth. Like the Beckett baseball card book. That was years ago and I'm sure there are several pricing books out there. I'm looking to buy one or two and just wanted to get some advise form some members who are MUCH more up to date on the subject than I am.

My current books are quite a bit out dated, but you should be able to find a number of recent options at any book seller such as Hastings. Don't bypass the general antique guides either as they often have a section on old bottles.
