Old Brass and a Button

Checked out an old celar hole I think I'm getting the hang of the explorer. Found an old button that I think is mid to late 1800's. Says Best Quality on the back, eagle mark above. Very nice condition, I think old copper would hold up nice in this soil. Also found some Old shot shell brass that dates about 1900.

Found the button in the pit of an uprooted tree in about 7 inches. Found lots of shotshells, some modern casings. Lots of old bottle shards. Looks like this place dates around 1900.

Hope you don't mind me resizing your pics fot ya. Hard to see the other way. I'd say your right about the button. Keep at it, you'll get better every time you use it.

I use Kodak Easyshare editing software, sorry. But if you post the question here- http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/board,309.0.html i'm sure someone with more computer knowledge can help you out. I'm not too bright with these things. By the way welcome to the forum, i'm sure you'll learn a lot here, I know I did and still am for that matter.
