Old button found. Need some identification please.

2 lions under a crown. Brass. found 8 inches deep in old garden.

Do have a photo of the reverse of your button, showing any back marks? And a dimension since I'm asking questions.

Here is the back. No writing, just the reverse stamp of the Lions and Crown. I put a quarter beside it to give you an idea of the size.

Hi; it is a 2 [piece button most likely dating to the 1820's. I believe it is a British Uniform Button from the Infantry. Good Luck. PEACE:RONB
