Old Camp yields 2 Silver Quarters and Silver Button in 3 hours.

Hey all,

Went to the same old camop yesterday for a few hours. My friend Jon went with me. He has never been able to make it there before. His first trip there he found 2 Silver Washington Quarters. A 1953d and a 54d. Pretty cool and they were in great shape. I also found this button. I believe it is silver as it rang high like a quarter and looks like silver. I'm not even sure they made silver buttons though. I have never really found that many buttons though.

Anyway, take a look and if you think you can identify it let me know. I'm curious. This camp only dates back to 1945 or so, but I think this looks like an old military button.

That's a Marine button. Found one just like it, unfortunately, yours is in in great shape compared to mine.

I just looked at a website and it appears that your button is a Navy button.
