Any ideas? It kind of looks like a crown on one side to me.

Interesting find kimbermerc. Your pictures are on the dark side. Is their any writing on the coin? Where did you find it? I am a little confused - is the coin clear on both sides with a bunch of dirt, mud, cement - around it? Did you put it in some warm soapy water to get the mud off?

Looks like a lead seal.

Thanks for looking, no visible writing that can be made out. The item was found in Europe, that's as specific as I know for the location.

It has been cleaned, the build up around the edge is all metal. It appears to have been stamped into the medal and not cleaned up very well along the edges, maybe it is a lead seal. Now I'm just curios for what.

Could that be a coin print in the first pic? It would be cool if it was from the medieval times or from the Roman Period. This is very interesting.

Maybe it is a lead sea,l but the imprint on the medal is very puzzling.

Here's one site for "lead bale seals" baleclothseals. The European seals go back many centuries.

Definitely looks along the line of those lead seals. I will try and get some pictures with better lighting to post up.
