Patrick and I manged to hit a few fields today, not sure if it was the rain or the sweat, but it was one of the more difficult weather days to be swinging, looking forward to the fall. Did manage a few goodies, not as much as Patrick, he seems to have a six sense on where to swing. Managed a George III copper, a toastie, a small button and a buckle. According to an online reference the buckle appears to be from the 1660's to 1720's vintage and were used for shoes and for fastening the breeches knee-band below the knees, it appears to have SWIFT stamped on the back. If anyone has any amplifying information, it would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
