Old Copper coin

My buddy and I went on a hunt yesterday at a site that has produced coins and relics back to the 1600s. We found a couple buckle pieces, a couple buttons and he found this big copper coin or token that we can’t ID. I’m hoping these pictures are good enough to get an ID. There is still plenty of detail on the coin and we’re hoping someone on here will know what it is.

It appears to be a Brazilian 20 Reis coin from the early 1800's. Here's an image of a non-dug one that I found online:

It's from the reign of King John VI and was minted between 1802 and 1818.
