old detector Found by a friend given to me

This is really cool and it works and came complete with oper manuel.Agood friends father pasted away and he was cleaning out his old house and found this in attic so he gave it to me . i still have not found what year its from but its a neat thing to have

Isn't that an old BFO type detector?

Fisher M-70 (metalert). Do not know when it was first manufactured or when they were discontinued but I know they were available in the early 70's. It was originally designed as an industrial detector but was also used for coins etc.

I have a copy of the manual and sales brochure.
