I found this engraved ring at a 1700s homestead I've been detecting.
The original homesteaders had a daughter who's name started with an H. She was born in 1806.
Its pretty small. It barely fit my wife's pinky and she has thin fingers.
Any ideas on how old it is? Is it gold, gold plated, brass? How do you tell?
All opinions are appreciated!
