Old farm site

There is a old farm site near me that no longer has buildings, etc. on the property, rather it is seeded in to a crop every year. When would be the best time to detect there?

right after they dig up the previous crop stubble

That's kinda what I figgered.....Problem is they generally dig it up and seed it all in one operation....I'll have to talk to the guy.....
