Old fashioned clam bake.

This was our 22nd year we have made this bake, it's one you just can't miss. The members of this club have been doing this for many a year and do it just like they did in the old days. I'll let you see for yourself. You will never eat a cleaner more tasty clam than here.

My friend Lisa brought a game "washers" we played, it's played just like horse shoes but you use washers and a box with a can in it. She says the horse shoes are too heavy, but she likes to play.

Just thought I'd bring you along for the day!

Ohhhh I could just see Micki playing in the sea weed and eating all the clams now ! Yeah I was stuffed.....clam chowder, 3lbs of clams, lobster, cole slaw, baked potato, corn on the cob, rolls! If you went away hungry it was your own fault.

Hey, hey, hey, step away for a second and you two are stealing my site? Well gentlemen I have news for you this is a Mens club, easier for a sweet little girl with fluttering eyelashes to get permission . Hobble on down and you can go with me .

Don to your questions, I am pretty sure it dates back to the late 1800's. The old bucks were busy putting on the event, so I figured I'd look the exact time frame up on my own. I thought my books were still in my car, they were home . So I will go look now, gotta go to the garage and get it, Gerr was helping me with some research.

I KNOW i will find old bullets (it is a German rifle club), being on the river, having hundreds of events, parties, weddings there, (560 people yesterday) the possabilities are endless. Maybe I'll catch a nail or two
