Found all these wonderful items in the middle of the New Mexico desert. My question is, how old is this hat pin and does it have any value? I have not tested the stones. This town was know for its mines and had 9 saloons. The nickels and Indian heads date between 1882-1911. Found the hat pin in close proximity of the old iron leg from a stove, old pots and 1892 Liberty V nickel. Is anyone an expert or collect hat pins? I think this is by far the most interesting and beautiful item I have found to date. My mind goes wild thinking of how it got there and who wore it. Any help is greatly appreciated it.
