Old Glass Cap?

Found near late 1800’s mining town home sites. One side partially flat and thick glass. Bottom is recessed. (Sorry couldn’t figure out how to rotate photo.)

I'm thinking the top to a coffee percolator.
.... but then I'm not a big coffee drinker.

Could be from a coffee pot lid. Haven't been able to find one on the internet that matches.

I don't think this is a coffee percolator sight glass (2nd pic), otherwise it would be perfectly round. :icon_scratch:
Looks to be industrial made, as tony already suggested, maybe an antique gas pump sight glass (1st pic).

Looks to be mold press made, also has imperfections in the glass, likely dates to the early 1900s.
