Well it might be old,but not sure what period it is.Does it have any maker marks on the bottom maybe? That sometimes can give you a clue.

No Maker mark, I know that there is roman glass that is made similar with the handles and everything but it probably is not that old.

It's just a recent whimsical piece . . . no collector value, but it might look good in a window.

Nice piece but I think it's pretty new. But it looks like it has some base wear . So I don't know.
