Definitely a story of mankind's involvement over there. The piece of flint may have been knocked of a flint stone threshing board

That’s a lot for “not much to report,” in those pics. Looks like fun. Congrats.

A lot of great buttons IMO. The flint could go either way.

Exactly, though I do feel it was flaked by the hand of man at some point in time.
 
That sharpening stone is pretty cool. I can picture someone working in a field with their scythe cutting some grains.

Its actually silver plated & I have no idea, but as I cleaned off one end from the lump of mud it looked like a Celtic Silver Unit, so it got me going for s sec.
 
Looks like a sliver plate tack
