Old Horse in Glass??

Hi there! Love this forum! :-) I'm still on a rush from my first silver on Halloween (1945 half)...but I found this item about 14 inches down near an old home or farm site. It sure is creepy! Looks like a large button but has a rectangular back slot that seems too big for that. Maybe a decoration for a horse bridal? Not sure but it feels haunted and was found in a rainy woods not too far from a cemetery on Halloween. ....I don't want it in the house so its in the garage! Lol! Thanks for any tips....

It is an old bridle rosette. Personally, I think it is a beautiful find!

I found the exact same one in a 1940's site.Neat!
