i found this in my yard a couple days ago at about 7" I'm thinking it must have been for plowing?

i found one like that in Spanaway, not to far from you. the one i found has curved ends but the curve bends all the way back down to the shoe. kinda like a high heel for a horse. have no idea why tho?

Could be. That type of shoe was used for traction in mud or loose dirt. Loggers used them alot. Tony
