Old Iron blade. Any ideas?

My son dug this blade up at an old house site dating back to the late 19th century. My first guess was a plow blade but i could not find anything that looks like lt. Then i was thinking a possible hand tool. Maybe it gets attached to a big long stick? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. My son is going to add this to a few other items we found on the site and present them to the owner of the house as a gift and thank you for the permission. We will mount the items in a shadow box with a note of identification captioned under each item.

Any ideas on its age? All the pictures i am finding show cultivator blades as one piece.

sort of looks looks a bucket tooth

It could be a bucket tooth but I'm leaning towards an anvil hardy.
