Aquila, I love all the wonderful finds; the buckle speaks for itself, and it is so rare to find a broach like yours with the stone still in it. That button is a knockout! Is that a turret or a birdcage shank? I can't tell from the scan.

Thx. Yes it was found from field site I had earlier found some musket balls. . I will donate it to a museum for free so everyone can see it.
