Wierd finding it just out on a hiking trail through the woods. Maybe a safe deposit key, but I dunno. Too big for a jewelry box I think.

Nice key! I may be wrong, but it may have been part of a lock for an old drawer/desk based on the design on the handle

It belongs to the treasure chest 10 feet from where you found the key. Here is the map I found for you. I do not know what the signs mean nor can I decipher the writing. Best of luck to you.
