Old knight statues

[jtw1313]

Ok figured I would put something good up. Help me learn the age of these and the meaning of the armour 19 inches from base to tip of axe base is magnetic and pole magnetic statue itself non magnetic

[Frankyg]

The style of the armour reminds me of 15th Century Papal armour. I'm no expert but if you google it you will see what I mean.

Check everywhere (especially around the base) for numbers or lettering.

Probably ornamental statuettes for the mantle with no real historical accuracy in the armor style.

Possibly Ansonia Clock Company spelter statues circa 1900. Possibly worth a couple hundred $$$. Loads of them on ebay but none exactly like yours.

Scottish Highlander spelter figures, can any ID these?
