This is just a crazy guess.....is it possible that's an early version of a British dog tag, ie; military.

Looks like its from the John Wanamaker store in Philly. Apparently a type of credit token that patrons could use. So its a early credit card!

Its a good bet yours is an older design though. First off, you have a crown on the top and the JW is bigger and in a different spot. You also have 57604 and this image is 81965... so I bet yours is older.

Also, in that thread there is an image of one with 107037 and the crown just like yours.... so my theory about your style being older might not be true.

John Wannamaker is a big name, both literally and for what he accomplished as a merchant, like almost being famous.You would have to google him to see all of his contributions to the world of buying and selling. Cool find:thumbsup:
