Old Mill Site Hunt #2, YIPEE!

Well, I went back to the mill site with my 3 boys, and low and behold, the first signal I received I dug. Out popped an 1899 Barber quarter from perhaps 10" down in the roots. I called my wife on the cell phone and took pics. Then I rescanned the dirt prior to filling in and got another good signal. By golly, a 1900-S dime! Two coins from one hole. Then it started to rain and the boys wanted to go home, so we hiked the mile back to the car. So now I know I am in the right spot, and must return many times to get a total feel for the site. I love those old sites they always seem to fool ya then ya run into something good.
Keep up the good work, and be careful those boys are bound to get bit by the detector bug.
You could wind up like me and my dad with an arsenal of metal detectors.
