OLD MUNGO MINE AND ST JUST POINT [CORNISHTOWN]

Hi all, The other evening went up this dirt track and found some new mines sites i never been to before.Gold was first found in this area in 1853 by cornish miners, who named it ST JUST POINT.This old mine in the second pic was called "OLD MUNGO" The mine is dangerous and i have no intention of going into it.Found a few shards and broken glass and a couple of coins which i have not yet cleaned up.I would say by there size english coppers a penny and what is the smaller one.Will post when cleaned up

Neat finds, Tinny! I wouldn't venture into that mine either...I have visions of strange, creepy, crawly, nasty critters in there.
