I don't know! But, I usually dig them all up so I don't think I missed many treasures in a tin can!

I guess if I was to find a hoard, some would have to be quietly distributed to bank lock boxes, family and etc...maybe re-buried, again....!
Hey, with a bunch of GOLD, back then, was a LOT of money to somebody - today, it is too..., a crazy amount for each coin, is
paid at auctions...! Publicity drives the prices up..., historic connections make them top dollar.

IRS doesn't relate to Family Connections; Historical Events...; even the common habit of burying your valuables...!
I'm going to start looking at can dumps a little differently, in the future...!
