I know this is the Daily Snapshot, but wanted to share one taken about 75 years ago at Sulphur, Oklahoma. My uncle on the left and my Dad on the right.

My friend Dave Guerra made the colorized copy. Looks like his program missed the red Prince Albert tobacco can that held their fish bait.

Awesome photo, and memories. In the 50's when I helped in my folks grocery store I loved when the old timers came in and asked if we had Prince Albert in a can. I fell for it every time.

As kids we used to do prank phone calls to stores doing the "Prince Albert in a can".

Thank You! They had those slingshots at all times while growing up and passed that tradition on to me. We were always on the lookout for those perfect forked sticks, inner tubes, and old shoe leather. Also round rocks, marbles, nuts, bolts, and whatever else that could be used for ammo.

I have 4 brothers and 4 sisters and all of us did the same, the girls could almost outshoot us boys but not quite, or at least that's what we said!! LOL

My neighbor had a large area of concord grape vines. Green hard concord grapes were awesome slingshot ammo.
