Following Steve’s lead of posting some actual artifacts, here are a couple of old pictures.
Long, long ago in a far away place, I used to dig for a lotof relics.
Here is a small cache of pipes that I dug.
A couple of broken up pots in situ. If you’ve ever heard the phrase, Sack Pot,that is what these are. Broken up bymovement/settling of the dirt, so they come out in small pieces and become avery complex jigsaw puzzle.
And a big piece of pottery

Nice! I saw some pieces of NA clay pipes last weekend at a local museum. The clay was brown unlike the light colored Colonial ones. I hope to find a piece one day. Congrats on the finds!

Those are some really neat finds. Thanks for showing them!

Really enjoyed seeing "actual" artifacts you found! Awesome pipes and pottery! I've only found a small broken pipe piece and it was so beat up from being tumbled in the creek I couldn't tell what kind it was, hoping to find more pieces someday. Thanks for sharing your pics.

Great looking finds Joshua. Hopefully others catch on and start posting some real artifacts.

Really good finds! Impressive.

Outstanding finds ! I like those pipes.
