Old Pipe finds

Following Steve’s lead of posting some actual artifacts,here are a couple of old pictures.
Long, long ago in a far away place, I used to dig for a lotof relics.
Here is a small cache of pipes that I dug.
A couple of broken up pots in situ. If you’ve ever heard the phrase, Sack Pot,that is what these are. Broken up bymovement/settling of the dirt, so they come out in small pieces and become avery complex jigsaw puzzle.
And a big piece of pottery

Nice! I saw some pieces of NA clay pipes last weekend at a local museum. The clay was brown unlike the light colored Colonial ones. I hope to find a piece one day. Congrats on the finds!

Really enjoyed seeing "actual" artifacts you found! Awesome pipes and pottery! I've only found a small broken pipe piece and it was so beat up from being tumbled in the creek I couldn't tell what kind it was, hoping to find more pieces someday. Thanks for sharing your pics.
