Old pocket knife

I love old pocket knives, especially verifiable OLD 1800's knives, (cant afford to collect guns) so I found this one today and has a inscription, It was at a modern day swimming hole at a reservoir built in the 60s, This seems older,,, Any ideas?
I also found some UMC 12 qauge and peters there.

I could see the place being a homestead long ago,Its about the highest place on the lake.

What do the ends look like?

they arent capped but appear to be full brass and 2 blade knife.

The one end looks like it hat a belt ring in it. Not sure of the exact date that the rings made their debut, but I am pretty sure it was in the early 1900's.

Definetly a whole but its full of brass, as if the ring broke off both sides, or its not through the entire body.

It may be a Curtin & Clark Cutlery Company knife. They touted using the best English Steel. If it is, my guess would be 1900 - 1920.
