Re: old railroad bridge, or what's left

Nice pic, maybe you can locate the old 'depot'.

Fossis.............

Re: old railroad bridge, or what's left

I think the depot was about 15 mi. away. there was a big trainwreck there in 1906 I believe. this route was mostly used for lead and lumber. will chk & see if there was another depot closer.

That cut stone could surely be used for something but sure would be a b...h moving it. Nice photo!

Wow! Looks neat, is that water so clear you can see the bottom or is it just reflections?

Re: old railroad bridge, or what's left

the water is actually that clear! I was surprised too, but there are probably a lot of springs feeding this creek. didn't notice any water cress tho.

this looks like one I have seen on the Black River arounnd Washington co State Park.

Duke boys! that's good. I totally missed the dukes & daisy. didn't have a tv back then so it took me awhile to figure out what you were talking about.
& I think this is on the Castor river. will have to look at my map. will have to go back to see if there are any fish w/ my name on it.
