WHAT KIND OF TREASURE ARE WE HUNTING TODAY ?
Detector(s) used
MINELAB E TRAC, EXCAL2,QUATTRO,WHITE 6000 DI PRO SL,EAGLE SPECTRUM,SILVER UMAX ,BANDIDO UMAX VARIOUS VINTAGE
i was fooling around on the net and keyed in LONG JOHN TRUE TREASURE

i was surprised when a craigslist listing popped up

in a distant city.

i called the lady and she really wanted someone

to do local pickup .but since no one else called

she agrred to ship it. about 200 early treasure mags.

incl an almost complete run of true treasure/treasure

world from 1966 to 1982. lots of other early mags.

books and vintage metal detecting literature.

these are bound in the orig folders.most are in near

mint condition. i was so happy to get these at about 60

cents per. i have actually been detecting since 1966

myself so these are very special to me.

looking on feebay these can bring from a lot to nothing

depending on so no way to know true value.

anyway the very first issue oughta be worth something.

its a treasure to me anyway.

see if u can remember any of these early covers.?

i just read the story of lassiters gold reef in the australin

outback. wow. exciting.

You will find these to be great reference material I will never sell mine!!

ur right, and these are not for sale. ive had 2 pms asking

so please dont ask again. i should have made this

clear from the beginning.sorry. just wanted to share

them old covers. almost all now are photo covers

so its cool to see some old uns where they used artists.

Those were good mags. I remember reading the one with the Indian and dead cowboy. My old MD club got old mags donated and sells them for 25¢ I use to buy all I could and then sell on ebay. I would put them together as 3 - 4 to a set and did pretty good.
