Diggin Canada
Jr. Member
Hi everyone I haven't posted in awhile because I have been at the cottage but I came back down and spent about 3 hours at the park and was able to pull out some good stuff. I pulled a pile of wheats (oldest being 1936d and 192_) and George cents (oldest being 1939 and 1922). As you may know the 1922 cent is a semi key date with a mintage of about 1 million. The problem it has a lot of corrosion so if anyone knows how to remove it with the least amount of damage to the coin that advice would be much appreciated. Then I found a Canada pin and 5 silvers. I got four dimes (1965, 1960, 1953 and a 1956 rosie). The find of the day was a very choppy signal mostly showing up in the as pull tab but also giving a bit of a high squeak. I decided to dig it and out came a 1912 QUARTER!
Then I went back in the hole and found a pull tab right on top of it. It was a very fun hunt full of surprises and I will be back there very soon. Good Luck and HH.
