Hey guys found this ring today at a property that dates back to 1850.... it looks to be pretty old.. does anyone know what kind of stone it has... and it also has the number 27 on the back.... any idea of an age or value would be appreciated!!! Thanks HH

Any idea of the age or why there is a 27 on it? Thanks

the 27 is most likely a pattern number. The stone turquoise. I posted on your other thread and asked for a better photo if you can of the mark before 925. It could ID the maker or company.

The design reminds me of a vintage Maisels Trading Post ring. If you clean the mark before 925 it may match their hallmark.
Circa 1950 looks very close. If its a Kachina doll, I say solved.

A lot of roadside curio stands along the old route 66 use to sell similar rings as genuine Indian art. I had several about like this one at one time. They sold for around ten to fifteen bucks each. That was back in the 1950s. Monty
