Old south american Pike

[rammjäger]

Hello T-Netters !
A friend who is collector as well, had this very rare of
the middle 1800´s pike.It dates back to the firsts revolutions
or civil war in our country.
The gauchos horsemen attacked the enemy with fury
Not fearing the bullets of the modern rifles (Remington rollig
block etc.)
For this unique piece we made a deal ,that is we exchanged
relics and we both were very pleased

I still have no clue about this pike .Someone said the model
is not american but european aprox. 300 years old.
Still not sure if it belongs to portuguese or spanish conquerors.

Someone has an idea or a link to such old european weapons?
