Old St. Christopher's medal

Hello, went to an old house I was working and did a small corner. Got three wheats (37, 42, 44) and a lead or pewter pendent. It has an old car on the back, so, it should date to the same period as the wheats. I started the side yard when the backyard neighbor started yelling at me. I told him I had permission, but didn't believe me. I told him to call the owner, but them he whipped out a badge saying he was chief of police. I was able to convince him that I knew the owner...eventually threatening me that if I stepped over the property line, he would be the first to know about it. I can understand his vigilance, but he didn't have to be a prick about it. I mean, he could have had a civil tone or even called the owner, which I'm sure he did later...I had to leave after a few minutes after such an unpleasant conversation.

This appears to be the same bar and plane St. Christopher's medallion as yours. It sold at auction last month but no $ info is given as to the winning bid.

that is a pretty sweet medallion, yeah hard to understand people sometimes, I've dealt with some very mean spirited people. Thank God theres a balance of good hearted friendly people out there. good luck
