Old Trade Axe Restoration Sorta

I found this old axe yesterday (June 29)....worked on it today (June 30).


Fresh out of the ground.



Hand sanded for a long time....neck sunburn to prove it.




I got the handle from an old axe I found in a nearby river in like 1997 or so.




I think it's pretty frickin' cool that this axe lived in the ground for a hundred plus years (maybe more) and it's back in business again.
