This was a surface find in the woods near the old farm machinery pile. It is hard to make out that odd script - I wonder what it was off of?

It's the top cover of a car engine , I think

Here is some information. Looks like it came off a 1960 Renault Dauphine. Or some other Renault.

Perfect - nice photo - I think the farm had a Willys or two in the 1950's - I had forgotten about them.
