Hey folks!

Haven't had much time for detecting the past week but did manage a one hour hunt up in the mountains, same area where I found my Palmolive-Peet token. Came away with two 1919 wheats and a 1917 wheat. This site should produce some silver but I've yet to find it. I also got a neat old emblem, probably off an old truck with wooden rails. Some of the wood is still attached to the screw. This site dates back to the late 1800s but the houses that once stood there date to early 1900s. I'm gonna try to get in another hunt before the week is over if I can!

Thanks everyone! Old wheaties are always fun to find.

I think you have the bottom of a golf club, a #4 wood used for teeing off.

Interestingly enough, one of the houses was actually owned or at least used quite often by Marilyn Monroe. I wonder if the club could have belonged to her or one of beaus!?? We'll never know.
