Old Whites underwater loop

I came across an old Whites underwater loop from the 70's. Will this work with my modern Whites detector like a DFX?

There were no Whites detectors that were dual frequency VLF in the 1970's, only the TR detectors. It (an old Whites underwater loop from the 70's) would not be expected to function effectively on a DFX.
