My ancestor from the early 1800's had a 2 story log cabin in the St. Louis , Mo. area . It was moved to the Overland Historical Society's plot and it is open for candle light tours around Christmas times. My wife and I went there one year and really enjoyed the tour. Our family bible was next to the bed with family names / dates of birth and deaths.
