So instead of going out to swing the coil today, I decide to do more crh'ing....I have found quite a few silver coins this way...and never found a single silver coin md'ing...go figure....anyway, I'm going through $370 in loose rolls of half dollars, when I get ANOTHER walking liberty half!! This one is a '41, and a little bit more worn than the '44 I found on Friday....I still can't believe it!! 2 walkers in 2 consecutive hunts of halves...and here I thought the chances of getting an old half in this area were slim to none...pics here.... ;D Includes a bonus pic of my cat, just for the heck of it... :tongue3:

Treasure hunting is hwere you find it, good hunt!

Awesome job bud, yep they are still out there!!! The only way to find them is to put the time in and hunt for them!!! My best one was a key date 1938d in perfect condition. I pulled all of these from $500 bank boxes. :icon_pirat: My 1st one was also my oldest half that I found, a 1918 Walker.

NICE!!

It's not how, it's how many. . . as they say in goth. . . I mean golf ;D

Not half bad! Proof that you CAN talk the talk AND WALK the WALK(ER)! Come on goth, did you really think Kermit found ALL the walking liberties? lol...

Now you can take that coin to the candy shop like 50 cent and get yourself some candy dots or something.

Joe

Joe- GAAH!! I thought my Dad and I were the only ones still repeatedly spouting bad puns...as for the candy shop, I'll pass...this one's going straight to my safe deposit box...I plan on willing all my coins to my kids....let's hope they don't spend 'em on candy... :laughing7:

Nice Job!
Is that reddish hinge just the light or is there some toning on that coin?

Bozarth.jpg

Jon- no toning on the '41 walker (at least that I can see); must just be the way the pic turned out. Sometimes that happens w/ pics taken by my webcam...dunno why, maybe just the lighting in my apartment?? :icon_scratch: Btw-your cat is cute. :tongue3:
